For the third release on Ki Records we are going back into deep house with a four track EP by Steffen Kirchhoff featuring Christian Löffler. The boys from the far north of Germany have been coining a new wave of deep, melancholic house music for a while now and got us all impressed with their soulful and harmonic productions in the last year. Steffen Kirchhoff’s Inside EP definitely is another highlight in the small but very selected catalogue of Ki Records, featuring three of his very own tracks and a special collaboration with his buddy Christian Löffler.
On the A side, the EP kicks off with Volver – a track full of energy, raw percussions and beautiful melodies – Steffen Kirchoff is sure to get some of the industry’s attention after the release of this EP. Quickly followed by Haut-Parleur on A2, which demonstrates Steffen Kirchhoff’s undisputable talent for high quality electronic music. On the flipside we’ve got Inside – magnificently layered synthesizers and basslines whelm the listener with warm feelings. Into Dust featuring Christian Löffler is a slowly driving deep house track, giving a taste of what these two friends are up to in the future.
